Francisco Chevez – Managing Partner
Francisco has over 20 years of experience as a sell-side equity analyst with Citigroup covering the consumer industry, which includes beverage companies and retailers throughout Latin America. Previously, he spent four years working as an independent investment banker to family and government-owned consumer companies in the US, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. He also worked over seven years with Bear Stearns and HSBC covering the retailing and restaurant industries with a focus on Latin America. At HSBC, Francisco had a coverage universe of sixteen companies, including e-commerce retailers. Francisco holds an MBA from Queen’s University in Canada, an Economics degree from ITAM in Mexico City, and is a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA). Francisco holds the Series 7, 63, 86 and 87 FINRA licenses.
Pedro Herrera – Partner
Pedro has over 20 years of experience in the international capital markets with a strong focus on emerging markets. Pedro’s career includes senior investment banking and capital market roles at Prudential Securities, UBS and HSBC, among other global financial institutions. His extensive experience encompasses relationship management, equity/fixed income research, mergers & acquisitions, equity/debt capital markets, IPOs, investor relations advisory, investor access/education and fundraising. For eight years Pedro was head of Latin America Food and Agribusiness Equity Research at HSBC, covering nineteen companies (twenty seven stocks) based in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and the US. Pedro’s clients were global institutional investors and asset managers throughout Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Latin America and the US. Pedro holds an MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, an MS from the University of Maryland, and a BS from the University of New Orleans. Pedro holds the Series 7, 63, 86 and 87 FINRA licenses.
